Worship Services

Worship Services

Jesus is the center of our worship - we proclaim him as Lord of our lives and Savior of all. Worship is our corporate response to God's grace in our lives and community. We strive to provide a broad range of worship experiences that caters to different forms of expressing our belief in and gratitude to God.

Currently we have three worship experiences to choose from:

Main Service

Saturdays at 10:45am. Our main service is a blend of formal and informal experiences of worship. At this service you can enjoy both majestic hymns accompanied by our pipe organ and uplifting praise music. We feature elements such as scriptural calls to worship, candle lighting, responsive readings, creative dramas, readers' theatre, special music, and time for corporate prayer. Sermons focus on scripture and ways to connect the gospel to our everyday lives. For the latest sermon from the main service worship experience click here

Friday Night Service

Fridays at 7:45pm. Friday Night Service was created for the simple purpose that today’s generation needs a worship service to call their own. Through this ownership the students and community of La Sierra University, as well as the outlying community, have created a worship experience that is real, relevant, and honest to the core. Along with the passion for the Gospel, FNS seeks to “Connect Humanity with Divinity, through Community.” Those who attend Friday Night Services feel at home as they enjoy praise music and sermons that are real and relevant. Early Church

Saturdays at 8:30am. "Early Church" is the 8:30am liturgical worship service at the La Sierra University Church. The liturgical service is a contemporary Seventh-day Adventist expression of the rich tradition of historic Christian worship. Its focus is Scripture, thoughtfully heard and prayerfully received. Its style is participatory, involving the congregation throughout the service. Its spirit is contemplative, including structured periods of silence for reflection and prayer.
